How to stop caring what people think or say
In a land veiled by the mists of time, nestled within the embrace of a quaint village, there resided a wise elder and his eager young son. Their hearts were restless, filled with the yearning to explore the great unknown, and thus, one fateful morning, they decided to embark on a journey to a distant realm, guided only by their trusty donkey.
They packed their humble belongings, which told tales of generations past, and began their odyssey. Their path was not simple, for it meandered through sprawling towns, undulating hills, and vast deserts that stretched to the horizon, their golden sands glinting under the sun’s fierce gaze. Concerned for his son’s well-being amidst such challenges, the father, in an act of boundless love, allowed the youth to ride atop their steadfast donkey, while he himself trudged beside them, his feet whispering tales to the earth with every step.
Upon reaching the gateway of the first town, they found themselves the subject of many curious eyes and hushed voices. One townsman, voice dripping with judgment, proclaimed, “Behold the audacity of youth! The young one luxuriates atop the beast while the venerable elder is left to the whims of the scorching sun.” The words, heavy with reproach, weighed upon the duo’s souls, causing the son to descend from his perch, insisting that his father take his place.
